OPPOSE HB418, relative to eligibility for absentee voting. This bill requires voters to be either absent from the town or city in which they are domiciled, or disabled and unable to vote in person, in order to be eligible for an absentee ballot. It removes any other reasons, including religious observance, employment obligations, and adult/child care responsibilities.
OPPOSE HB288, requires that absentee ballots be requested at least 6 months prior to any election for which the absentee ballot is requested.
SUPPORT HB665-FN-A, relative to eligibility for free school meals. This bill increases the eligibility for free school meals to household incomes up to 300 percent of federal poverty guidelines, and provides funding from the education trust fund for the additional costs.

OPPOSE HB476-FN, relative to restrictions on elective abortion. This bill would change NH law, making abortions illegal after 15 weeks gestational age (currently 24 weeks). Governor Ayotte has pledged to veto any abortion bills that create more restrictions than NH's current law. Despite that, a strong anti-abortion contingent remains in the Statehouse and a group of House Republicans is proposing this 15-week ban. Therefore, it is prudent to voice opposition, while hoping Ayotte stays true to her word should this bill progress.

SUPPORT HB550-FN, modifying the base cost of an adequate education. This bill increases the base cost of an adequate education and expands the definition of an adequate education.
OPPOSE HB238-FN, prohibiting collective bargaining agreements from requiring employees join or contribute to a labor union. Republican backers refer to this and similar bills as "Right to Work" legislation. HB238 is really a union busting bill which should more accurately be referred to as the "Right to Work for Less" bill.

Oppose HB115-FN, relative to universal eligibility for the education freedom account program. This bill removes the household income criteria from eligibility requirements for school vouchers.
Oppose SB11, relative to the allocation of electoral college votes. This bill apportions the state's presidential electors so that 2 at-large presidential electors shall cast their ballots for the presidential and vice-presidential candidates who received the highest number of votes in the state, and congressional district presidential electors shall cast their ballots for the presidential and vice-presidential candidates who received the highest number of votes in their respective congressional districts.
